Chiefs Announce Initial 53-Man Roster

After months of speculation and several roster projections, the Kansas City Chiefs have announced their initial 53-man roster following today’s 3 p.m. deadline.
Prior to today, KC Sports Network’s Kent Swanson did three projections prior to the initial roster release. In his latest projection, Kent correctly predicted 49 of the initial 53 spots.
Here’s who made the initial 53-man roster.
Quarterback (2): Patrick Mahomes, Chad Henne
Running Back (4): Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Darrel Williams, Jerick McKinnon, Michael Burton
Wide Receiver (5): Tyreek Hill, Mecole Hardman, Demarcus Robinson, Byron Pringle, Daurice Fountain
Tight End (4): Travis Kelce, Blake Bell, Noah Gray, Jody Fortson
Offensive Line (10): Orlando Brown Jr., Joe Thuney, Creed Humphrey, Trey Smith, Lucas Niang, Mike Remmers, Andrew Wylie, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, Austin Blythe, Nick Allegretti
Defensive Line (9): Frank Clark, Chris Jones, Mike Danna, Alex Okafor, Joshua Kaindoh, Derrick Nnadi, Jarran Reed, Tershawn Wharton, Khalen Saunders
