Players to watch in Week 6:
DE Frank Clark: The veteran pass-rusher was off to a tremendous start in Week 5, making three impact plays in the first quarter. Unfortunately, he left the game with an illness — the same stomach issue that has plagued him often over the years. It’d be ideal if Clark could pick up where he left off against the Raiders. With some injuries in the secondary, the defensive line will need to be extra effective on Sunday.
S Deon Bush: Rookie S Bryan Cook is ruled out of Week 6 with a concussion, which means we should get an extended look at Bush in this game. The free agent signing did a good job in spot situations for the Bears previously, but this will be his first time seeing significant action in Kansas City. He has a reputation as a big hitter and an enforcer in the middle of the field.
CB Joshua Williams: With Rashad Fenton ruled out and Trent McDuffie unlikely to be activated from injured reserve in Week 6, Williams could get his first career start against the pass-happy Bills. The fourth-round draft pick out of Fayetteville State replaced Fenton late in the fourth quarter against the Raiders in Week 5. He was in press-man coverage against Davante Adams on the biggest play of the game, disrupting the timing of the route, in part causing the collision with Hunter Renfrow that ended the game. Can he reproduce that type of performance in Week 6?
WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling: Against the Raiders, Valdes-Scantling had one of his best performances in a Chiefs uniform. He led the team with six receptions for 90 yards and looked good doing it. While the team has preached the ability to go to different targets as necessary each week, it’d be nice to see a player like Valdes-Scantling stack some big games. With how much attention Travis Kelce is getting from opposing teams, K.C. might need another big week out of Valdes-Scantling regardless.

Former Chiefs All-Pro LB Derrick Johnson and DT Mike DeVito break down the defensive film from the Chiefs' victory over the Las Vegas Raiders and point out some of the key players, including Nick Bolton, Chris Jones, George Karlaftis, and many more!
Transactions:
10/14 - Signed to practice squad - DE Benton Whitley
Quotable:
“Yeah, well listen, he’s a heck of a football player. I feel like he’s played forever, but he still is bringing it. He’s one of the quickest guys if not the quickest guy off the ball from that outside position in this league. His first step is phenomenal and he’s got all the combinations with his hands. He’s been a nice addition to that group. I think he’s helped 50 (Bills DE Greg Rousseau) too with his technique and fundamentals. So, they’ve got a nice thing going there.” - Andy Reid on Bills LB Von Miller
“Yeah sure, I’ve mentioned this just special teams has helped him with the speed of the game and the angles you need to take and all those things. So, now it’s just a matter of getting in and playing and trusting your technique and fundamentals. I think he’s looking forward to it, he worked well this week.” - Andy Reid on Chiefs CB Joshua Williams
