Players to watch in Week 14:
TE Travis Kelce: An uncharacteristic fumble from Kelce last week stifled any positive momentum the Chiefs had gained in the second half of that game. This week, he’s going to be looking at redemption in what could be a positive matchup against an AFC West opponent. Denver has allowed 60 receptions for over 600 yards and three scores to tight ends this season.
CB Trent McDuffie: As bad as the Denver offense has been this season, they do have one matchup in the passing game that could be exploited. Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy averages 5.2 yards per route run against man coverage this season and the Chiefs play one of the highest percentages of man coverage in the NFL. McDuffie is going to play a part in limiting the damage caused by Jeudy.
OT Orlando Brown Jr.: The Chiefs’ franchise-tagged left tackle will once again be challenged. He surrendered a sack in one of the key moments of the game in Week 13. This week, he’s going to face some serious speed in outside linebackers Baron Browning and Jonathon Cooper. A bounce-back performance could be paramount in the team’s ability to keep Patrick Mahomes upright in Week 14.
DT Chris Jones: The Bengals had a good plan for Jones in Week 13, limiting him to just two hurries and four stops on the day. Jones is the team’s leader in sacks (10) and pressures (50) this season. Against an offensive line that could be missing starting LG Dalton Risner, it’s only reasonable to expect that Jones will be looking to get back into the sack column.

Quotable:
“Yeah, listen, I actually just saw the last probably half of the fourth quarter, whatever it was, and (it’s) pretty amazing, pretty amazing job he did. It's hard enough going in and playing when you have complete understanding of the offense, and then when you've only been there a couple days and you have to run the two-minute drill to win the game, that's pretty amazing. So, my hat goes off to him. He did a nice job.” - Andy Reid on Rams QB Baker Mayfield’s comeback win vs. Raiders
“Guys, that just don’t stop. Those guys both are in year eight, nine, seven, eight, nine and you see them still going like they’re in year one and two, so I’m in year three and I look at guys like that who are still trucking along, man, and it motivates me somedays because they just love the game so much. Some of the best players on the defense for years, since they’ve gotten here so you look at those guys it definitely gives you a push.” - Willie Gay Jr. on leadership of Frank Clark, Chris Jones
Quick Hits:
From No. 87 & No. 57: It seems that some Chiefs players were paying close attention to the Rams’ comeback win over the Raiders on Thursday night. Travis Kelce & Orlando Brown Jr. came away impressed with Baker Mayfield’s game-winning drive for Los Angeles.
From No. 15 and No. 19: Patrick Mahomes seems to think that Kadarius Toney has the strongest arm of any position player in the NFL. Toney also weighed in. It’s a safe bet at some point Andy Reid is going to dial up a pass from Toney.
