Early Summer 53-Man Roster Prediction
June is the worst month of the NFL calendar. The draft is in the rearview mirror, Training Camp doesn’t start until late July, and nothing good can really happen this time of year.
It’s a tough one to get through, but it’s worth examining the current state of the Chiefs roster from a building perspective. I’ve taken a crack at what the Chiefs’ 53-man roster could look like to open up the 2024 season.
I have accounted for early absences of (assumedly) Rashee Rice and Charles Omenihu. Looking at the roster in their absence gives you some perspective on what the Chiefs could be rolling with early in the year. It certainly presents some questions.
