We’re excited to announce a new partnership between KC Sports Network and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City (BGCGKC).
We’re excited to announce a new partnership between KC Sports Network and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City (BGCGKC).
As part of the partnership, the BGCGKC will be the new presenting partner of “KCSN Daily” — the daily morning newsletter of KC Sports Network.
“We’re excited to partner with such a respected organization that has done so much for so many within our community,” CEO of KC Sports Network BJ Kissel said. “It’s been a goal of ours to give back to our community and we feel the ‘My First Game’ campaign is a perfect way to begin this partnership.”
The “My First Game” campaign will provide tickets to each Kansas City Chiefs home game for kids who have never been to a game at Arrowhead Stadium before. We all know what kind of experience going to a game at Arrowhead is like and it’s only right we help as many get that experience as possible.
“This partnership opens the door to a host of opportunities for Club members and we are thrilled to be a part of such a thoughtful collaboration,” President and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City Dr. Dred Scott said. “Not only does this allow for Club members to experience their first Chiefs game, but it exposes them to a myriad of career opportunities related to the business of sports. We are thrilled about what the future holds moving forward.”
In addition to a few marketing initiatives to be announced at a later date, KC Sports Network is proud to sponsor two teams in the Kansas City Royals’ RBI program with BGCGKC. Through the league, hundreds of young people across the city have the opportunity to play baseball and softball each spring and summer at four facilities, including the Urban Youth Academy.
Additionally, KC Sports Network is happy to announce a change to our KCSN Daily subscription model. In our first year, an annual subscription to our newsletter was $50 per year, or $7 per month. With this partnership and with the overall success of the network, the new price for KCSN Daily will be $30 annually, or $5 monthly.
We appreciate your support of KCSN and we look forward to creating more great content and finding new and creative ways to give back to our community in the process.
