Games and prospects to watch during Week 10 of CFB!
For the first time in history two “Number 1” teams are facing off this Saturday with the number 1 (AP Poll) Georgia Bulldogs hosting the number 1 (College Football Playoff Rankings) Tennessee Volunteers. This game alone makes this one of the best College Football days of the year but what other games should you make sure you are around for this weekend? Don’t worry, we got you covered!
What to Watch on CFB’s Week 10
Local Games
Texas vs #13 Kansas State
Time: 7:00PM EST | Location: Manhattan, KS | TV Station: FS1
Prospect To Watch: Bijan Robinson | UT | RB| #5
Bijan Robinson has been a hot name in the college football world for the past two seasons and now he’s finally draft eligible. He’s the complete package with his vision, dynamic ability, and power as a runner and an equally effective receiver out of the backfield.
#18 Oklahoma State vs Kansas
Time: 3:30PM EST | Location: Lawrence, KS| TV Station: FS1
Prospect To Watch Jason Taylor | OKST | S | #25
Jason Taylor has developed into a great player for the OKST defense and will have another big challenge this week. He’ll have his hands full this week with Kansas’ offense and trying to decipher all of the misdirection while shutting down the middle of the field.
Kentucky vs Missouri
Time: 12:00PM EST | Location: Columbia, MO | TV Station: SEC Network
Prospect To Watch: Chris Rodriguez | UK | RB | #24
Chris Rodriguez is one of the more productive running backs in college football and has become the heart and soul of the Kentucky offense. The UK offensive line isn’t what it used to be putting a lot of pressure on Rodriguez but more often than not he is up to the challenge.
Saturday Schedule
Maryland vs Wisconsin
Time: 12:00PM EST | Location: Madison, WI | TV Station: Big Ten Network
Prospect To Watch: Nick Herbig | WIS | EDGE | #19
Nick Herbig is the next OLB in the Wisconsin pipeline. Slightly undersized at only 230lbs but with plenty of athleticism and technique to his rush plan he has been causing havoc in the Big Ten for the past two seasons. Against Maryland he’ll be facing off with a NFL caliber offensive tackle - Jaelyn Duncan - which could go a long way in showcasing his ability to stick as a pass rusher at the NFL level.
#2 Tennessee vs #1 Georgia
Time: 3:30PM EST | Location: Athens, GA | TV Station: CBS
Prospect To Watch: Jalin Hyatt | TENN | WR | #11
The Tennessee offense may be the single most dangerous offense in all of CFB and a huge reason for that has been the development of Jalin Hyatt. He’s always been a dynamic player with legit track speed but this year he’s shown a ton of growth as a receiver and the ability to make plays at all three levels. Pair him with Tennessee’s offense and he had the most productive receiving month in CFB history. Georgia may be the most talented team in all CFB from an athletic standpoint and it’ll be a true test to see if they can defend Hyatt and all the field space the Vol’s like to exploit.
#6 Alabama vs #15 LSU
Time: 7:30PM EST | Location: Baton Rouge, LA | TV Station: ESPN
Prospect To Watch: Eli Ricks | ALA | CB | #7
Eli Ricks transferred from LSU to Alabama this past offseason and the year didn’t start off great. He struggled to earn not just a starting job but to even get meaningful snaps. In Alabama’s last game against Mississippi State he finally earned that start and made the most of it with 3 PBU’s. Ricks is looking for a big game against his ex-team and a fantastic stable of WRs led by Kayshon Boutte.
Wildcard Watches
#5 Clemson vs Notre Dame
Time: 7:30PM EST | Location: Notre Dame, IN | TV Station: NBC/Peacock
Prospect To Watch: Isaiah Foskey | ND | EDGE | #7
Isaiah Foskey is the leader of Notre Dame’s stout defense. Listed at 6’5” 265lbs, he has the size the NFL will covet and can play the run as well as any DE in this class. As a pass rusher he’s still working on expanding his pass rush repertoire and maximizing his go-to move, the long arm Walker Parks is Clemson’s most talented OL and should provide a good test for Foskey to really showcase his NFL potential.
