Plus latest KCSN podcasts, Substack articles and more Chiefs news.
Welcome back to the latest issue of the KCSN Daily newsletter, where we deliver the best Kansas City Chiefs content to your inbox.
Each Friday for the remainder of the offseason, I’ll be asking the KCSN Discord server to weigh in on the latest hot topics surrounding the Chiefs. This week’s question: Which injured player(s) are you most concerned about heading into training camp?
LJ (Sneed) or Trent (McDuffie). Leg injuries in corners always worry me. - HT101(Owen)
(Trent) McDuffie for me. He’s going to be needed more this season and has had a tough time staying healthy so far. Missed some off-season time last year. Missed some of the start of the season with something else. Now this during the off-season is just a little alarming. - KristianG
Can I say (Kadarius) Toney? He's always like half a second away from a multi-game injury. Not worried about the other injuries until after training camp, and it's still bothering them. - josephjefe
Trent McDuffie. Stress on fibula feels ominous. Think out of those options that’s the one I’m most concerned with. - JulianK 10/10 with Rice
I don’t think it’s the worst injury in terms of positional value but (Isiah) Pacheco having an injury is concerning due to his play style. I’m worried they will start to build up. - Wess
LJ (Sneed) because it just seems almost reoccurring. - Grayson Jasperse (CIG)
Definitely Trent (McDuffie). Feels like this season (if healthy) will be the clear transition to the unanimous CB1. - justDRK
(Isiah) Pacheco’s shoulder feels like the injury nobody is talking about. We have seen how RB shoulder injuries go, and with his style of play being key to his success, I’m already worried about his longevity and availability - Bhiggs_Prince Felix 👑
Here was Andy Reid’s injury report as of the final day of mandatory minicamp: Blake Bell (appendectomy), Mike Edwards (hamstring), Trent McDuffie (stress on fibula), Isiah Pacheco (shoulder), Trey Smith (tricep), L’Jarius Sneed (knee) and Tershawn Wharton (knee).
