All proceeds once again benefit Operation Breakthrough's "Christmas Store"
It’s our biggest campaign of the year with the KCSN Foundation - the “Soul of KC Holiday Raffle and Toy Drive.”
You’ve likely seen posts about it on social media. We’re not shy about putting it out there because we know the difference it has made for the kids at Operation Breakthrough over the past two years since we started doing this program.
It has raised more than $35,000 over the past two years in partnership with DICK’S Sporting Goods.
The idea is simple. We have a bunch of prizes you could win through raffle tickets purchased - either through our Venmo, or our GiveButter page.
The raffle tickets options are …
1 ticket for $20
5 tickets for $50
15 tickets for $100
25 tickets for $150 (plus a KCSN gift)
We take the proceeds and we go shopping at DICK’S Sporting Goods with kids from Operation Breakthrough. They told us that most people - when donating items for Christmas - often only think about younger kids, toddlers. They said it would be great for us to focus on the older school-age kids, and teenagers. That’s where they needed the most help. So that’s what we’ve done.
We’re selling these raffle tickets through Monday, December 4, and winners will be picked on that following Monday, December 11 - at the end of the “Only Weird Games” podcast. The raffle tickets are all digital and will be entered into the “wheel” that spins and randomly selects a winner for each item.
