"Soul of KC" Holiday Raffle is Nearing Deadline - Patrick Mahomes' Signed Mini-Helmet, Chris Jones' Signed Jersey, Chiefs Tix + 18 MORE Prizes

If you’ve followed us long enough, then you know how important the programs we run with the KCSN Foundation are to us.

The biggest of these annual programs is the “Soul of KC Holiday Raffle and Toy Drive,” which benefits Operation Breakthrough’s Christmas Store. The store’s goal is to ensure more kids in our community have a great Christmas.

It’s that simple.

Over the past three years, the KCSN Foundation has raised more than $50,000 for this program. The money raised is used to buy presents from DICK’S Sporting Goods (at the request of Operation Breakthrough).

Operation Breakthrough originally told us that most of the presents that get donated around this time are often for younger kids, and the older kids tend to have less options. They thought sporting goods would be a great fit for what they needed, and fact that we’re a sports network made it an even better fit.

That’s how this began.

So, we gather a bunch of awesome prizes and sell raffle tickets to give them away. Most of these prizes are purchased with money raised from our golf tournament.

There are still a few days left to get raffle tickets for this year’s campaign (deadline is Monday at Noon CT). Our goal was to raise $20,000 this year - matching last year’s total, and we’re currently a little more than 1/2 way there.
