They Got it DONE! Chris Jones Signs MASSIVE Contract Extension

The Chiefs' star defensive tackle will be staying in Kansas City

It was the news that we were all waiting for and it came late on a Saturday night.

The Kansas City Chiefs re-signed their star defensive tackle Chris Jones to a long-term extension that will make Jones one of the highest-paid defensive players in NFL history.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, “the specific details still are being finalized. But Chris Jones will sign a five-year deal in which all the money in the first three years - $95 million - is guaranteed. When the I’s are dotted and T’s crossed, Jones’ deal will include the highest-ever average annual DT salary.”

Soon after the news broke, the KCSN “Breaking News Team” - aptly named by Tucker Franklin, hopped on a livestream and broke down their thoughts on the signing.
