The 2023 NFL schedule reveal is coming on Thursday, May 11, but the league has already released the dates and times of two games for the Chiefs. Below you’ll find all of the important information for those two games.
Sunday, Nov. 5 at 8:30 a.m. CT - Week 9: Chiefs vs. Dolphins - Frankfurt Stadium - Frankfurt, Germany.
There will be no homecoming for former Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill. He’ll have to hope that his team travels to Arrowhead for a playoff game in 2023.
The Chiefs are the designated home team for this international series game. With international marketing rights in Germany, it very well could look like a home game too. That said, Frankfurt Stadium holds 51,500 fans, which is over 20,000 fewer than Arrowhead Stadium’s 76,416 capacity.
“We are thrilled to be headed to Frankfurt this fall to play the Dolphins. The Chiefs have a long history of helping to grow the game of football around the world, and we have been eagerly anticipating our chance to play in Germany. Ever since the Chiefs were awarded International Home Marketing Rights for Germany, we have engaged with fans and partners throughout the DACH region, and we can feel the enthusiasm for NFL football. We look forward to bringing Chiefs Kingdom to Germany and to sharing the game with our fans in Europe.” - Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt.
Sunday, Dec. 31 at 3:25 p.m. CT - Week 17: Chiefs vs. Bengals - GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium - Kansas City, Missouri
This is a rematch of last season’s AFC Championship Game. These two clubs have one of the best rivalries in the AFC and with this game being so close to the postseason, this game could decide the league’s No. 1 seed in the conference. It’ll also mark the first time that Orlando Brown Jr. returns to Arrowhead Stadium since joining the Bengals in free agency.
