Rumors are swirling regarding a L'Jarius Sneed trade for the Kansas City Chiefs. How much would the Chiefs get in return and what would the roster construction look like if they decided to keep him?
Hi… thanks for this very nice summary of the situation. But one thing I‘ve missed, why a long term contract for him maybe isn’t helpful for KC: if he gets 20M every year, there is maybe nothing left (or not enough) for our OL-Guys next year. So I guess, one more year under the franchise tag is affordable for us, but from next year on we need the money for the OL-Extensions.
Why would I trade him for less than a 1st? Let's say you have a rookie who played like Sneed did last year. Wouldn't you want to keep him? Mainly if he played exactly the way Sneed? Why would I give you someone that might be the best, toughest lockdown for less than your top picks.?

The draft is crapshoot - Sneed is not
